Let’s not beat around the bush here. The Ravens absolutely need to win this football game if they are to keep up and keep pace with the rest of the AFC. A loss here would truly crush Baltimore’s spirit and their playoff chances. The good news for them is that they get to face the Cowboys, who as far as opponents go, they couldn’t ask for a better team to try and get right against. Dallas, as mentioned above, is trotting out Andy Dalton again to play QB. Dalton has been atrocious as the starter since Dak Prescott was ruled out for the year, having thrown at least 1 interception in every game he has started so far, to the tune of a 77 QBR. Prescott, who has been out since Week 5, still leads the Cowboys in passing yards. The Cowboys were last seen getting crushed at home by the Washington Football Team on Thanksgiving.

The Ravens have been slumping. After a year that saw them go 14-2 and become one of the hottest topics in sports, they have come falling back down to earth sitting at 6-5 and out of a playoff spot. QB and reigning MVP Lamar Jackson has struggled mightily throwing the football this season, which can be the result of a number of systemic problems within the offense. They have also suffered numerous injuries throughout the season, many of those being on the defensive side of the ball.

The best way to bet this game in my opinion is to tease the Ravens down through the key numbers of 7 and 3 to -1.5, and then pair it with a total of 42. This seems like an automatic winner to me, as the Ravens should win this football game at home with much more to play for than Dallas. Lamar Jackson should feast against the Dallas run defense, which is the worst in the league. If I had to pick a side, I’d take Baltimore -7.5.
