In the main event, Alexander Volkanovski retained his featherweight championship after stopping The Korean Zombie Chan Sung Jung in the 4th round via strikes on the feet. The fight overall was not much of a spectacle to see. Volkanovski mostly dominated the whole time until referee Herb Dean decided he had seen enough and stepped in to stop the fight.
In the co-main event, Aljamain Sterling remained bantamweight champion and unified the belts by beating interim bantamweight champion Petr Yan in an extremely close fight. Sterling overcame massive underdog odds and won via split decision and is not the undisputed bantamweight champion. At least one person is very very happy with Sterling overcoming the odds…
Someone has bet $50,000 to win $180,000 on Aljamain Sterling tonight at +360, per @betmgm.

Lastly, Khamzat Chimaev (11) remained undefeated by beating Gilbert Burns (2) in a featured welterweight fight that had massive implications. Chimaev didn’t have the dominant performance that many were expecting out of him as Burns managed to make Chimaev look human for the first time in his career at points of the fight. Ultimately, Chimaev would get the win via unanimous decision.
