The Black Beast is at it again. After securing yet another vicious KO win on Saturday, Houston’s Derrick Lewis had a surprise in store for the small amount of fans that were present at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. After a brief celebratory dance, Lewis began untying his pants, which gave everybody flash backs (more on that in a bit) and made the commentary team question what he was up to this time.
After digging around in his pants for a minute, we found out exactly what he was up to this time. He was going to give a lucky(?) fan a souvenir they’ll never forget… his cup.
Check out the video here:
The knockout actually solidified Lewis as the UFC’s all time knockout leader with 21 of his 26 wins coming by KO/TKO.

Despite Lewis’ joking exterior, the man is actually brilliant. He explained that the reason he threw the cup was so that one day he could turn it into an NFT and make some money off of it!

The reason that people started having flashbacks when they say Lewis untying his pants was because he is not new to taking his pants off. Lewis went viral when at UFC 229 he took his pants off after his win and famously told Joe Rogan he did it because “my balls was hot” followed by Rogan’s simple response, “I understand.”
Coming off of a loss in August for the interim heavyweight championship, Lewis bounced back in this fight about as well as he could’ve. In his post fight interview with Michael Bisping, Lewis joked that he is of course interested in trying to gain another title shot, but would like to fight a three round title fight instead of five rounds, stating, “five rounds? Y’all f**king me up with that.”
