Guess who is back around fights!
Bellator is holding another card in Dublin today with Bellator 275, and The Notorious One showed his face.

With the card being in Ireland, obviously many Irish fighters are featured on the card. Nobody can call McGregor a “casual” as he is at the event from the very first fight of the night. He first popped up in the cage after the very first fight of the prelims where Lee Hammond got his second professional win. Hammond is a teammate of McGregor at SBG Ireland, McGregor’s longtime gym that he’s been with his entire MMA career.

McGregor’s History With Bellator
Unfortunately, McGregor doesn’t exactly have the best history with attending Bellator events. In 2017, McGregor had an infamous moment where he jumped in to the Bellator cage to celebrate another teammate’s win. That time, though, he wasn’t as calm as he has been so far at today’s event.
After hopping the cage, McGregor went to celebrate his teammate’s win. However, when referee Marc Goddard came to get him out of the cage (because fans from the crowd aren’t allowed to just ambush the cage, believe it or not) McGregor turned his excitement towards anger towards Goddard, shoving the referee and having to be held back by officials.
This was one of the first incidents in a string of incidents for McGregor from the time in between his Mayweather boxing fight and his eventual return to MMA with his 2018 Khabib Nurmagomedov fight.
With McGregor still recovering from his brutal broken leg injury at UFC 264, hopefully he won’t be jumping any cages tonight. We’ll have to wait and see if he’s able to stay in his seat and not cause any trouble today/tonight…
