Move over, Maverick. Stand aside, Pennywise the Clown. Shut your mouth, Silent Bob. The best teaser trailer of the summer has dropped and it features a quick sneak peak at the Raiders’ taking the spotlight on HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks.’
The 40-second teaser — most likely — makes it difficult for a die hard Raiders fan to keep their shorts dry. It has the great narration from Redd Pepper, the clips of the first few days of workouts, large bold CG and a powerfully-drummed musical score. Take a look below and see for yourself.
HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks’ debuts Tuesday, August 6 (10 PM ET/PT). The following hour-long episodes of the reality series debut subsequent Tuesdays at the same time, with encore plays Wednesday nights, culminating in the Sep. 3 season finale.
“If you’re a fan of football or great storytelling, ‘Hard Knocks’ with the Oakland Raiders is going to be must-see television,” says Peter Nelson, executive vice president, HBO Sports. “We are so grateful to this storied franchise for opening up its doors and allowing HBO and NFL Films to spend the summer with the Raiders in what promises to be a compelling and engaging training camp.”
NFL Films is also excited for the Gruden and Co. to be the centerpiece of the Emmy Award-winning show.
