Female Fighter of the Year: Amanda Nuñes
If we look at every woman in history, I don’t think one of them have the resume Amanda Nuñes has. This year, Nuñes knocked out Cris Cyborg and became the first woman to hold two different belts in two different weight classes. Cyborg was a woman who many considered to be the greatest female fighter of all time. Nuñes retired Ronda Rousey, retired Miesha Tate, knocked out Cris Cyborg, and beat Valentina Shevchenko. That is absolutely insane. We just have to give this woman female fighter of the year.
