Head Coach Brian Kelly is no stranger to Sports Center, but on Wednesday nights installment the ball coach made a bold statement:
“College football is going to be affected if we’re not playing in 90 days in terms of the conditioning element in getting these young men ready.”
Coach Kelly says July 1st is needed for strength and conditioning. Team started fall camp on August 2nd last season.

90 Days – The Countdown Begins
First off, a lot can happen in the next three months, there’s no doubt about that.
But with the Notre Dame Season Opener In Dublin Seriously At Risk Of Cancellation, everything coming from an official source on the matter is going to be met with greater scrutiny.
Over the next 90 days, the Irish appear to be focused on the recruiting element trying to maximize this period.
Additionally, Kelly has highlighted that the program has prioritized social media. They are trying to get really creative with their graphics as they know there is a captive audience.
It will be interesting to watch this progress if the team is not able to take the field by July 1, 2020.
There is too much on the line for the 2020 Fighting Irish and they have some unfinished business. They have a bold statement to make too!
