Well, many fans won’t be begging to make it out to a game this season strictly to watch the team play, as the team will likely lose 100+ games, so the front office had to get creative to get fans inside the ballpark. Luckily, they can thank who is responsible for the giveaways, as they have a great slate for the 2024 season.
Usually, the White Sox giveaways during the season are pretty good. They have had some legendary giveaways like the Hawk Harrelson alarm clock, the White Sox basketball jersey that Yasmani Grandal loved, and plenty of other interesting gadgets.
This year is no different, as despite the product on the field, they will be giving away some very cool items. Here are some of the notable giveaways during the 2024 season:
On March 30th, they are giving away a nice White Sox sweatshirt. Nothing special, but it has a different White Sox logo on the front.
On April 13th, there is another very cool Sox sweater that is different from most of the Sox merchandise out there.
On April 27th, they have a new edition of the of the White Sox hockey jersey, this time with a throwback White Sox theme. This might be cooler than the original White Sox hockey jersey.
On May 11th, they are giving away an awesome White Sox quarter zip that has the throwback navy, red, and white. This will definitely be one of the most popular giveaways of the season, so get there early.
On May 25th, they are giving away a cool Luis Robert Jr. bobble head, so this will be popular for many of the collectors who have gotten every other bobble head giveaway.
On June 8th, they are giving away another version of the very popular Hawaiian shirt. A new take on a popular giveaway from past years.
On June 29th, the Sox are giving away a Southside basketball jersey. My personal favorite, as this is probably the best one on the list. If you are a fan of their Southside City Connect jersey, this is a must get.
On July 13th, they are doing a throwback jersey vest. This is a new giveaway and it is awesome they are bringing back the vests. This should be one that has fans lining up an hour before the gates even open.
Lastly, one of the main giveaways will happen on August 24th and it is a White Sox football jersey. This one should also be popular as it looks awesome.
Overall, this should be a great season of giveaways, but it might be the only great thing about the White Sox in 2024. At least they are doing something right at this point.
