After getting off to a bit of a slow start, Tim Anderson wasted no time in putting the White Sox on top 1-0 smashing the very first pitch he saw off Cleveland’s Josh Tomlin.
It wasn’t much later in the 1st that Matt Davidson belted a ball over the right-field wall, plating Cody Asche and Avisail Garcia to extend the White Sox lead to 4-0.
Davidson is taking full advantage of his early playing time hitting a robust .353 with two home runs and eight RBI early on in the season. Finally healthy, perhaps the White Sox are finally starting to see the potential in the once prized draft pick.
The White Sox currently lead 7-3 late in the top of the 8th.
