Lottery Open for Savannah Bananas Tickets at Guaranteed Rate Field

-

Guaranteed Rate Field has a waitlist to attend a game in August and as you would expect after a 121-loss season it isn’t for the White Sox.

The hottest ticket in baseball, the Savannah Bananas will be coming to Guaranteed Rate Field on August 15 and 16. Tickets for the game start at just $40, but due to the demand fans have to join a lottery list for a chance to purchase tickets. The deadline to enter the lottery is November 1st. Once the lottery closes fans will be placed on a waitlist and notified if they have an opportunity to purchase tickets. White Sox season ticket holders will be given access to an early pre-sale but a date has not yet been released.

The Bananas have been compared to the Harlem Globetrotters of baseball. In just over five years they have grown from an independent ball act in Georgia to a national brand. Their games are made up of a set of unique rules to make the games go by quicker, with more action, and keep fans engaged. There is a two-hour time limit, no walks and foul balls caught by fans count as outs. The games often feature former MLB players and skits and stunts to keep people guessing as the game progresses.

The games at Guaranteed Rate Field are part of the Banana Ball World Tour, which features 17 different MLB stadiums including:
