Kris Bryant, who some Cubs fans believe is incapable of ever getting a hit in a high leverage situation, just hit a three-run homer with two outs in the seventh inning. That gave the Cubs a 5-3 lead, as it capped off a four-run inning.
Ian Happ scored after a leadoff double and then with two outs Jason Heyward reached on an infield single and Nick Castellanos singled before Bryant’s go-ahead home run.
