Jake Arrieta has finally made his return to the North side of Chicago. After signing with the Philadelphia Phillies this offseason, the former Cub great returned to the friendly confines after five outstanding seasons with the Chicago Cubs. Although he won’t face his former team this time around, it hasn’t stopped Cubs fans from showing their never ending support to the man who helped bring a World Series championship to Chicago.
Before the first pitch tonight, the Cubs paid tribute to their former pitcher with a pretty sick video tribute and followed it up with some of Arrieta’s highlights in between innings.
Here’s an excerpt from that video.
