The Best Fans in Baseball’s Twitter page caught the Cardinals “accident” when the team appeared to use a Cubs logo to promote some Spring Training getaway package earlier today.

In case you can’t see what’s happening in the tweet above, the ball that was used to promote the getaway had a Cubs logo on it. Although the logo is not the traditional ‘C’ fans are accustomed to seeing, the logo on the ball was used to celebrate a century of the Cubs playing at Wrigley Field from 1916-2016.
got it. Tough to make out the words on the ball. Shame on the Cardinals marketing team pic.twitter.com/jRwBXYjtCT

While using the Cubs logo wasn’t bad enough, The Best Fans in Baseball Twitter page saw another great opportunity to take a shot at the Cardinals for another embarrassing blunder — stealing player information from the Houston Astros.

I’m sure Cardinal fans will still find a way to deny that the logo on the ball is that of the Chicago Cubs but anyone with a brain can see exactly what the hell it is.
Good work Cardinals marketing department.
