You guys can argue all day and night whether Javier Baez deserves to be the National League MVP, I’ll be sitting on my fat ass, watching the most exciting player in the game lead the Cubs to another division title and you know, win MVP.
Baez stepped up again Saturday night against the White Sox, who had their first home sellout of the season, and Baez gave the fans a show. He began the night with a line-drive, two-run homer in the first off Lucas Giolito.
You keep debating, @javy23baez keeps raking. pic.twitter.com/gEMEUtKgBm

And then in the bottom of the first inning, Baez showed off his defense at shortstop.

Power, defense, so how about some clutch hitting to ice the game away for the Cubs.
Baez continues to lead the National League with 110 RBIs and is now tied for second in the league with 34 home runs, one behind Matt Carpenter.
So, to the haters…
