The Cubs are currently spanking the Brewers 10-0 in Milwaukee and Pete Crow-Armstrong just made a Brewers fan throw a tantrum. Luckily Apple TV was actually working and its cameras caught a fan throwing PCA’s second home run ball of the night back to the field and then stayed on the fan long enough to see him crash out.
Feed me these tears!
The Cubs center fielder is now slashing .271/.309/.550, with 8 home runs and 12 stolen bases this season.
The offense as a whole continues to bludgeon opponents as Friday’s game against the Brewers marked the eighth time the Cubs have scored at least 10 runs through 33 games. They didn’t reach that feat until the end of August in 2024.
Michael Busch had the biggest hit of the series opener, crushing a grand slam in the second inning that gave the Cubs an 8-0 lead.
PCA’s first home run of the game capped off a seven-run, second inning that pretty much ended the contest then and there against the Brewers.
The Cubs have now scored 202 runs this season. The Yankees have scored the second-most in MLB, but they’re a distant second with 180 runs.
