The Cubs will face off against a familiar face in Joe Maddon as the Cubs play the Los Angeles Angels today. In a recent interview, Joe was asked if he would have done anything differently looking back on his time in Chicago. To some, his response might come as a surprise.
“I would put Maddon’s Post downtown. That’s my biggest regret, that we chose to put it where we did. I think that restaurant in the proper setting would have killed it.”
Madden’s restaurant was only open for a total of nine months and closed up shop back in December. I am sure Cubs fans can think of other answers to this question but this is classic Joe. Yes, this is a bizarre response but should we expect anything else from the former Cub’s manager?
It’s all love between Maddon and Cubs
The nostalgia is at an all time high today as pictures are starting to float around showing Cubs players embracing Maddon.
