The Milwaukee Brewers have hit 27 Chicago Cubs since 2020, the most of any MLB team during this time period and on Saturday tensions once again boiled over. In two games this season the Brewers have already drilled four Cubs batters, including Ian Happ who left Saturday’s game after getting hit on his left kneecap.
Reminder that the Brewers have hit Cubs batters 27 times since 2020, the most by any team against any opponent in that time.

In a 9-0 game in the eighth inning, young right-hander Keegan Thompson hit Andrew McCutchen that led to both benches clearing. McCutchen was visibly upset, but he knew the situation and it seemed he was simply willing to take his base. However, other Brewers began to exit their dugout and Jason Heyward quickly raced in from center field as both teams jumped onto the field.
