Zach LaVine Is The Best Shooting Guard Since The All-Star Break

-

Zach LaVine is undoubtedly one of the best shooting guards in the NBA. His performance has been exceptional, averaging an impressive 29.1 points per game and 4.5 assists per game while shooting 50% from behind the three-point line since the All-Star break. This level of performance has put him in the same conversation as some of the top shooting guards in the league, including Devin Booker, Donovan Mitchell, and Jaylen Brown.

When comparing LaVine to these other elite shooting guards, it’s important to note that he has been the catalyst for the Bulls’ recent success. The team has gone 9-5 over their last 14 games. He has become a more efficient scorer and is making better decisions with the ball in his hands.

One area where LaVine has excelled is his three-point shooting. He is only one of five players to make 11 or more three-pointers in a game this season, along with CJ McCollum, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Damian Lillard. However, his efficiency sets LaVine apart from these other elite shooters. Shooting 50% from behind the arc since the All-Star break is a remarkable feat and has catapulted him into the highest tier of guards in the league.

LaVine’s ability to score in bunches is also noteworthy. He has had 18 games this season where he has scored 30 or more points and five games where he has scored 40 points or more, including a 43-point performance against the Detroit Pistons. His high-volume shooting has allowed him to be a consistent scoring threat, which has helped the Bulls get on a roll. With LaVine leading the way, the Bulls look poised to make some noise in the playoffs and potentially even make a deep run.
