I know I am a little late to the party here. I didn’t review game one, so I figured I’d put together a piece previewing game two. Believe it or not, there are actually some storylines in this game, though it’s only preseason. Jabari Parker returns to the BMO Harris Bradley Center against his former team, can Jabari and Zach stay in sync on the court? Who’s going to shine tonight? Anyways, let’s get into it.
In the first preseason game of the year, the Bulls offense looked like a well-oiled machine. Scoring at will in the paint and teammates getting each other involved. The Bulls combined for 23 assists against the Pelicans and look to bring that same run and gun offense to Milwaukee tonight.
Look for Zach Lavine to be aggressive again in this game. Zach seems highly motivated to be the leader of this team and to carry the scoring load. Also, it’s worth mentioning that Zach seemed to be more engaged on the defensive end of the floor as well. Throughout the offseason, many fans questioned Zach’s defense. Well, it looks like he is working on it from this video clip.

If any questions about Lavine’s explosiveness arise, just look at this clip below. Zach is just as fast and explosive as he was before his ACL tear.

Jabari Parker is another Bull to be on the lookout for in this game. Jabari is returning to Milwaukee for the first time since he was let go by the team. It’s no secret that the Bucks and Jabari ended their relationship on good terms but, Jabari could look to be more ball dominant in this game to show the Bucks brass just what they gave up.
NBC Chicago released this great video showing what Jabari can do on the offensive end.
If he stays healthy, #Bullsnation will be pleasantly surprised. #Bulls

I do look forward to seeing Jabari go at the Greek Freak, Giannis Antetokounmpo. Jabari still feels he can be a franchise player and tonight he gets to face his former team’s franchise player.
The last thing to look for is Bobby Portis and his growth and leadership off the bench. The Bulls bench in the first preseason game of the year came out and dropped 69 points. Led by Bobby Portis who scored 21 points and grabbed 5 boards.

Bobby’s confidence seems to be at an all-time high right now as he has embraced the 6th man role. Even in a preseason game, Bobby was caught talking smack.

So, those are a few things to look for tonight in what should be a pretty exciting preseason game.
