Free at last, free at last!!!
Nothing finalized yet, but Chicago is likely to waive guard Cameron Payne, league sources tell ESPN. Payne, 24, was the 14th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft to OKC.

The Justin Holiday trade forced this move, freeing all Bulls fans from ever having to see Cameron Payne put on a Bulls jersey ever again.
Payne is probably the worst player the Bulls have had in the post-Rose era, and as if that wasn’t enough to bring the fanbase to despise him, he was also acquired in one of the most lopsided trades you’ll ever see.
1) Trade two 1st rounders (Gary Harris, Nurkic) for Doug McDermott
2) Trade McDermott, Taj Gibson, 2nd round pick for Cam Payne
3) Continue sinking the franchise
4) Cut Cam Payne— Tankathon.com (@tankathon) January 4, 2019
We’ve prayed, and begged, and pleaded for this day to come. Today, Bulls fans finally have something to smile about.
