There isn’t really any new info in Andrews’ piece, so at this point we just have to take her sources word for it.
Jabari Parker has recently moved to the bench to make room for Lauri Markkanen. When Bobby Portis returned to the lineup Monday against the Kings, it was assumed Portis and Parker would play together off the bench at PF and C.
But when the Bulls went to their bench, Portis was playing PF with Robin Lopez at C. Parker ran with the second unit at SF, but according to Andrews that won’t be the case when rookie Chandler Hutchison returns from the illness that’s currently sidelining him.
If Andrews’ report is accurate, the media shitstorm that Jim Boylen hasn’t been able to escape won’t be going anywhere.
