According to @GeryWoelfel, Jabari Parker began the summer by going to New York to workout with Ray Allen.
Allen on Parker via @GeryWoelfel: “He’s a very good, humble, down-to-earth guy. As a player, he reminds me of Paul Pierce but bigger. His potential is so great.’’

Earlier this week Ray Allen had an interview where he compared Jabari Parker to Paul Pierce. To draw a comparison to a future Hall Of Famer such as Pierce has to be very uplifting for Jabari. Not to mention having a Hall Of Famer saying that about him.
Parker has been putting in a lot of work this offseason. Since signing a two year $40 million dollar deal with his hometown team, The Chicago Bulls, a lot of film has come out showing what Jabari has been up to.
Working on his shooting with Hall Of Famer, Ray Allen, has been circulating around.
During this time Ray Allen said that Jabari reminds him of a bigger Paul Pierce. Which, makes sense. Paul and Jabari excelled the most in ISO ball and weren’t the most athletic guys on the court.
Above are Jabari and Paul’s career numbers. Obviously, Paul has a lot more time and had fewer injury issues than Jabari has, but the shooting numbers look pretty similar.
One thing is for sure, Ray Allen giving Jabari that compliment and working with him on his shooting form will really help Jabari’s development.
