It looks like a lot of people were wrong about the Josh Giddey trade. The 22-year-old is playing the best basketball of his career — and the scary part is, he’s only just getting started.
Less than a week ago, Giddey was two steals shy of a quadruple-double against the Lakers in LA — something that hasn’t happened in over 30 years. Then on Thursday night in Chicago, Giddey delivered another unforgettable performance against the Lakers. He put up a triple-double with 25 points on 8-19 shooting, 14 rebounds, 11 assists, and two steals. And to top it off, he drilled a half-court buzzer-beater to seal the win — the longest game-winner in Bulls history.

What’s truly impressive is how well-rounded and dangerous Giddey is. Against the Lakers, he:
- Scored more points than LeBron James
- Grabbed more rebounds than Jaxson Hayes
- Dished out more assists than Luka Doncic
- Made more threes than Austin Reaves
- Had more steals than Dorian Finney-Smith
Giddey is showing superstar potential — and alongside Coby White, who’s also taking a huge leap, the Bulls might have something special brewing.

- 10.0 RPG
- 9.7 APG
- 1.7 SPG
- 52.3% FG
- 50.0% 3P

The future is bright for the 22-year-old in Chicago.
