Blockbuster Trade The Bulls Can’t Refuse From Knicks & Warriors

-

The Chicago Bulls must either retool around Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan or completely commit to a rebuild, as their value can still net them a handful of first-round picks and young talent. DeRozan, turning 34, is extension eligible for a contract worth up to $154 million over the next four years. A potential three-way trade that sends Zach LaVine to the Warriors and DeMar DeRozan to the Knicks might be too good to pass up.

Blockbuster Trade Between The Bulls, Knicks, And Warriors

The Bulls Receive RJ Barrett, Mitchell Robinson, Obi Toppin, Jonathan Kuminga, Warriors 2023 & 2025 first-round picks, and Knicks 2025 & 2027 first-round picks.

The Warriors Receive: Zach LaVine and Evan Fournier

The Knicks Receive: Klay Thompson, DeMar DeRozan, and Alex Caruso

The Bulls get four first-round picks for LaVine, DeRozan, and Caruso. On top of that, they get young talented players in RJ Barrett, Obi Toppin, and Jonathan Kuminga. Their cap space is reset, and they could finally build through the draft and free agency while developing these young stars.

The Warriors swap out Klay Thompson and two picks for Zach LaVine and Evan Fournier, who can help the Warriors win right now. LaVine is an upgrade over Klay Thompson, and the Warriors’ new management team will have to mortgage their future to put together the best roster around an aging Stephen Curry.

The Knicks walk away with winning players like Alex Caruso and Klay Thompson. Their championship experience can go a long way as the Knicks try to build a winning roster. DeRozan could be the final puzzle piece around Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle. The Knicks still have an arsenal of picks and Immanuel Quickley to build their future in case this experiment falls short.

This site is so dumb. Warriors wouldn’t trade Klay for Zach straight up.

People seem to forget Lavine is only 27 and the team has been handicapped because Lonzo Ball has been dead weight

As a Knick fan I would do this deal. But, would prefer to send JR and keep Barrett. We must get rid of Randle.

I like it except the Bulls keep Alex Caruso.
