Michael Jordan becomes the first player to win consecutive NBA Finals MVP awards while averaging 35.8 ppg. In the game, the Bulls set an NBA Finals record by overcoming a 15-point deficit (79-64), after three quarters. They scored 33 points over the final 12 minutes to defeat, Portland 97-93 in Game 6 and clinch its second straight NBA Championship.

Michael Jordan hits the game-winning, “Last Shot” in his final game with the Chicago Bulls as they clinched their sixth NBA championship in eight seasons. He earned his record sixth NBA Finals MVP after averaging 33.5 ppg.
