WATCH: Blackhawks Honor Patrick Kane For 1,000th Point with Incredible Tribute Video

-

Kane is the fourth player in Blackhawks franchise history to record 1,000 points.

The Chicago Blackhawks honored forward Patrick Kane for his 1,00th career point before Tuesday’s game against the Florida Panthers. Kane tallied his 1,000th point on Sunday at the United Center vs. the Winnipeg Jets with an assist on Brandon Saad’s 13th goal of the season.

The tribute video that the Blackhawks organization put together was filled with incredible moments throughout the course of Kane’s remarkable career. Kane appeared to be quite emotional on the bench while soaking in the moment.

Kane joins former Blackhawks Stan Mikita (1,467 points), Bobby Hull (1,153 points), and Denis Savard (1,096) as the only players in franchise history to hit the 1,000 point mark. The Buffalo, New York native is the youngest United States-born player to reach the milestone in NHL history.
