Blackhawks Extend Artemi Panarin’s Contract
On December 28, 2016 the Blackhawks extended Artemi Panarin’s contract. This was big. Even if it was only a bridge deal for Panarin, it guarantees the organization will have another proven scorer to go along with their core.
Panarin followed up his 77 point rookie season with 74 points in his sophomore campaign. He is the first player in Blackhawks history to score 30 or more goals in each of his first two seasons. The present and future remain bright for the organization with the Breadman in the lineup.
