Blackhawk rookie Alex DeBrincat had gotten off to a slow start to begin his NHL career. The 19-year-old flashed some potential with some goals early on, then he cooled off a bit. Now he has really heated up. He now has nine goals on the season after netting three of them tonight against the Anaheim Ducks.

It was pretty clear that Patrick Kane was looking for DeBrincat the entire time on this particular 2 on 1. To go along with his 3 goals so far, DeBrincat has also tallied an assist to give him 4 points with still a whole period to go. He is now 2nd in the NHL rookie scoring race.
