NFL football is still a few months away. Some fans aren’t quite getting into the spirit just yet. For Chicago Bears faithful, that shouldn’t be a problem after they see a brand new ad by Nike that features superstar pass rusher, Khalil Mack. An odd choice right? Most would think they’d focus on a quarterback or some other offensive player.
Well, technically they did. The add starts out featuring a pair of Giants. In this case former New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., now in his fresh Cleveland Browns uniform. He is then followed by rookie sensation Saquon Barkley, who quickly grabbed the spotlight in New York with Beckham on his way out.
However, they were just the appetizers. The man who brought it home was Mack, finishing with a flourish in a Bears sequence that will have Chicago frothing at the mouth for September to get here.
It’s hard not to watch Mack do that and feel just what might be in store for opposing quarterback this season. He’ll have a full offseason of preparation. Something he didn’t enjoy last year due to the holdout in Oakland. He also has Chuck Pagano running the show, a man known for his aggressive nature and magic hand for pass rushers.
