Top Chicago Bears Insider Reveals What They’ll Do At 10th Overall

-

The work done by the Chicago Bears in free agency over the past two weeks was clear. They wanted to address as many needs as possible, so it would free them up to do whatever they wanted at the 10th overall pick in the NFL draft. It makes sense. The last thing a team wants is to get boxed into taking the best player they can find at a position of need. Now, they can take the best player available, regardless of position. This has made it difficult for experts to pinpoint what they will do.

Some can see head coach Ben Johnson pushing GM Ryan Poles to grab a potential star running back like Ashton Jeanty. He could help fix the team’s 25th-ranked rushing attack. Others believe playmaking tight end Tyler Warren is an obvious choice. However, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune doesn’t think it will go that way. He released his mock draft, and it came with a clear statement. The Bears aren’t done addressing the offensive line yet. There is one more move to go.

10. Chicago Bears: Will Campbell, LT, LSU

If arm length weren’t an issue — Campbell measured 32 5/8 inches at the scouting combine — he would be a top-five pick. It’s a fair concern, but plenty of very good left tackles have excelled without ideal arm length (34 inches or longer). The Bears can plug in Campbell at left tackle, and if it proves to be a problem down the road, he always could be an interior anchor.

This isn’t a random revelation for the Chicago Bears.

Biggs has plenty of sources around the team and friends across the league. He is well-informed on what the team could be looking for. In 2023, he correctly projected they were targeting an offensive tackle in the 1st round. A year later, he nailed the projection that Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze would be their picks. He even strongly hinted in 2021 that they were angling to trade up for a quarterback. This statement that left tackle is very much in play at #10 overall is not an accident. He’s hearing things.

While many people are concerned about Campbell’s shorter arms, it’s worth noting that Johnson might not be one of them. His two tackles in Detroit didn’t have the greatest length either. Penei Sewell sat at 33 and 1/4 inches, while Taylor Decker was 33 and 3/4 inches. That didn’t seem to stop them from executing his offense at a high level. Campbell has the qualities he would love in a blocker: big, powerful, athletic, and violent. An inch of arm length doesn’t seem likely to deter the Chicago Bears from grabbing another good blocker.

Monkey Mucus had to defend the Doogie Dufus as if he was an older hyena brother. Keep it up, you just might either cleanse yourself or explode. Luv it. I’m far from mad, just having fun like in 5th grade against you, junior high trash.

Bad Dog, don’t let that street walking whore, Sally fool you. That cocksucker is always thinking. Thinking of how I keep my dick in his ear to fuck with her head, living rent free. Always thinking about Rocket, wishing he would take that skank for a ride. Thinking, damn HH30 has more intelligence than a basement dwelling Nancy. Thinking his tounge twisted rundown on useless bullshit on a sports comments section matters. When he should be cleaning up after the last cuck she had to suck. Ugly bitch couldn’t make it on the lower level at the Red Light District.… Read more »

Dufus is such a literalist, he cannot think figuratively. He must do the same with his unholy fraudulent book too. Poor thing.
