La Mar Campbell didn’t hire Poles. Bill Polian advised George and Ted. Campbell and Tanisha Wade were there for the aesthetics to look right.

Polian essentially hired Poles and his influence helped Poles choose Eberflus.

Anyone ever wonder why Ed Dodds removed himself from consideration for the Bears GM job that Poles got?

Maybe he knew he wouldn’t be the “low bidder” on the job?
