The Bears Loss To The Chiefs Somehow Got Worse

-

I’m going to share my honest thoughts here. The Chicago Bears are off to a rough start at 0-3, and it’s almost as disheartening as if they were 0-17. This one felt more than just a typical loss. The entire team seemed down. I had the chance to attend the game in Kansas City yesterday, arriving early to experience the electric atmosphere of Arrowhead Stadium, which lived up to its reputation. However, this experience highlighted just how far the Bears have to go to get to the Chiefs level. It was an embarrassment to Chicago and the fans. Absolutely the worst game I’ve ever attended personally.

What really struck me, though, was an unfortunate moment I witnessed right in front of me at the game. There was a father and his son, who must have spent a considerable amount, likely over $1,000, to take his son to his first-ever Bears game.

The little guy was repping a Fields jersey and was visibly excited, standing on his seat throughout the entire game. However, as the game neared its end, you could see the disappointment on his face.

What bothered me even more was that it appeared no one on the Bears sideline showed any real enthusiasm or care from start to finish. They seemed disengaged, as if they had mentally checked out as soon as they arrived in Kansas City. While I understand we’re all ultimately just fans, it’s clear that this franchise is in desperate need of change. I know it’s unlikely, but I needed to voice this frustration. Right now, it feels like the fans care more than the players, and that’s simply unacceptable.

These are indeed dark times for Bears fans. I think it’s time to financially cut ties with this franchise until they start being respectable again. No more buying tickets. No buying jerseys. Will this help? Probably not. But it will save you money and perhaps hurt the Bears pockets just a little bit. That’s a win, right?

Kevin Warren clearly needs to go into the locker room himself to scream at everybody. I’ve been in plenty of locker rooms, and professional athletes react well to being treated like orphans who ate too much soup.

Kevin Warren needs to go to the locker room with Poles, all coaches and players and have a come to Jesus meeting.
