If there is one good takeaway from this Bears season, it is how deep the Bears linebacker position is. Sure Kevin Pierre-Louis has been extremely reliable but it is the play of Nick Kwiatkoski that should get Bears fans excited moving forward.
In the games that Kwiatkoski has played this season, he has recorded 60 total tackles, 3 sacks, 1 interception, 1 forced fumble, and 1 safety.
Talk about a break-out season.
It is safe to say that the duo of Kwiatkoski and Roquan Smith will be one of the best things to watch for the Bears heading into next year. As far as Danny Trevathan’s future goes, who know’s if he will suit up for the Bears ever again. The linebacker position will be one of the stronger postions for the Bears heading into the offseason and the focus will certainly be elsewhere when it comes to filling the roster needs such as the offensive line and the tight end spot.
