Roquan Smith Got Roasted By Teammates Over Awkward Video

-

It hasn’t been much fun being Roquan Smith lately. He tore his pec last season after being on track for a Pro Bowl. Then he crashed his car shortly after the season ended. So it’s been a bit tough. When the Chicago Bears approached him about doing a short video encouraging fans to embrace social distance and help medical personnel battle the spread of COVID-19, like the good guy he is, he accepted.

The video itself isn’t bad. Smith gets the message across fine. However, he does seem a bit awkward during the delivery, taking his time with certain parts.

For anybody who understands the situation, it was clear Smith was reading the statement off a sheet of paper and just trying not to mess it up. Several of his teammates including Allen Robinson, Anthony Miller, and Tarik Cohen picked up on that right away. They made sure to let their young teammate know all about it.

Roquan Smith learned a valuable lesson

Always be careful what you put on the internet, even if it comes with good intentions. If you mess it up in any way, friends won’t let you hear the end of it. The linebacker probably will have a tough couple of days dealing with this.
