Possible Trade Partner Slowly Emerging As Prime Candidate For Chicago Bears

-

The Chicago Bears have many options this offseason, a situation every team hopes for in shaping their franchise. They opted to part ways with Offensive Coordinator Luke Getsy while retaining Head Coach Matt Eberflus. Although not a popular choice among Chicago fans, Eberflus has garnered support from the players who believe in his leadership. On the other hand, the Las Vegas Raiders are still in the process of selecting their Head Coach. Interim Head Coach Antonio Pierce has left a positive impact on the team, especially in the locker room.

However, star edge rusher Maxx Crosby has issued an ultimatum for the Raiders front office: either hire Pierce as the permanent head coach or risk him requesting a trade.

Chicago needs to jump on this now

The Las Vegas Raiders, holding the 13th overall pick in the NFL Draft, might surprise everyone by considering a trade-up for a quarterback. While the Bears would significantly drop from the 1st to the 13th pick, the prospect of securing a top 3 edge rusher in his prime could make the move worthwhile. In return, they could acquire at least two additional first-round picks and some day 2 or 3 picks. Pairing Maxx Crosby (14.5 sacks in 2023) with Montez Sweat could solidify the Bears defense as a top 3 unit in the NFL next year. With potential trade partners emerging, it’s now up to Ryan Poles to thoroughly assess options and make an the tough decision on whether to trade the number 1 overall pick again.

I get paid more than $140 to $170 per hour for working online. I heard about this job 3 months ago and after joining this I have earned easily $10k from this without having online working skills. Simply give it a shot on the accompanying site…

Over the top of the salary cap or over the top as in very good? I’m confused. I think he’d make our defense one of the more fearsome pass rushing teams in the NFL with one acquisition like at 3tech. The savings in making another pick will allow another pick of a different area, center or another WR. I’m just confused as to why you agree to disagree? Salary cap is there to be used. If we trade JF1 we don’t need cap money to pay him, we use it for JJ. Is there someone else I’m missing? We have… Read more »

timg,
Agree to disagree, sir. I think Corsby the cave Yeti would put our defense over the top.

The one difficulty with my earlier post is paying them all when they get to their contract years, but that can be addressed by signing the best and most productive earlier and letting the others keep improving. IMHO it’s way beyond time to pay JJ, not because of his demands, but because now he is also a cost that we have to figure into FA, signing real talent from the draft and so on. Getting it done is imperative before we have to Franchise him and piss him off. Prove to the world we’re not cheap and sign the guys… Read more »

I like where your heart and head is. It’s imperative that we stop looking at this emotionally saying we gotta have X or we’re gonna suck. We need a lot of Xs and Os. Patience grasshoppers. hehe
