Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky spoke to the media Wednesday afternoon and he was obviously asked about Allen Robinson’s contract situation. Thankfully, Mitch didn’t hold back when it came to answering these questions. In fact, he was rather direct with his responses.

Mitchell Trubisky on the ARob situation:
"We just gotta get that [contract] done."

Now, I know Trubisky wasn’t going to come out and bad mouth Robinson etc. But the fact we didn’t get that normal ‘quarterback talk’ type stuff from Mitch was honestly refreshing. Trubisky knows how much ARob means to the offense and his own personal success moving forward. Because if Tru can actually stack some good games together and build off that historic fourth quarter, then he too will start making his own case for the Bears opting to keep him around after this season. And say he does return in 2021, you know damn well he is going to want 12 out there with him.
