For the past few years Yahoo! Sports has been running simulated Madden seasons to see what the NFL future might hold. Their Madden 20 simulation accurately predicted a strong season for Tom Brady, the retirement of Eli Manning, and the eventual Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs. Although it’s just a simulation, Yahoo’s Madden 21 end of season results will have Bears fans on their feet.
So far this offseason all the talk is about the QB battle between Nick Foles and Mitch Trubisky with Foles recently taking the lead according to beat reporters. Assuming Foles wins the starting job, Bears fans could be in for one hell of a fun ride. Foles dominated the Madden 21 simulation, finishing with 4,801 yards, 44 TDs, 5 interceptions, all while completing 70 percent of his passes and winning MVP. But wait…there’s more.
The Bears also finished with a record of 14-2, a league best. The Bears then advanced to the Super Bowl to face the Kansas City Chiefs, where Foles continued his dominance, throwing for six touchdowns tying a Super Bowl record.
Foles has had an inconsistent career, to say the least, but he has won a Super Bowl MVP before, so these predictions are not impossible. If he can put up passing numbers anywhere close to this simulation, Bears fans should be ecstatic. With continued dominance from Khalil Mack and the gang on defense, all the Bears need to do is be slightly above average offensively and maybe these simulated dreams will come true.
