The Chicago Bears have been making waves this offseason, and their aggressive approach in the first 48 hours of free agency has caught everyone’s attention — including other NFL players. Superstar wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown recently shared his thoughts on The St. Brown Podcast, which he hosts with his brother and former Bears receiver Equanimeous St. Brown. Amon-Ra couldn’t believe how active Chicago has been, especially since they hired his former offensive coordinator, Ben Johnson.
“I feel like the Bears have unlimited f***ing money. This shit is crazy”
It’s easy to see why he feels that way. The Bears entered free agency with a top-five amount of cap space, and GM Ryan Poles has wasted no time putting it to work. Chicago has been focused on building up the trenches, strengthening both the offensive and defensive lines. And they’re not done yet — the Bears are expected to explore contract extensions for key players like Kyler Gordon and will need to save some money for their upcoming draft class, which includes four picks in the top 75.
St. Brown isn’t wrong — the Bears are making serious moves, and it’s happening fast. As a Bears fan, it’s great to hear players and media members talking about how much the team has improved. But at the end of the day, the games still have to be played. Still, you’ve got to love seeing the Bears focusing on the trenches, especially when it comes to protecting their franchise quarterback, Caleb Williams.

It’s about friggin time some beef was added to a team that used to be known as tough.
What took Poles so long to do this?
@David Barrett Strong said it best with “Money” in 1959.
But earlier in 1953, another Afro artist sang, “Money Can’t Buy Love.” In the early 60s, the Beatles covered both songs in their own way.
Early 70s as an extension of the 60s saw the O’Jays sing about “For the Love of Money” and Pink Floyd’s “Money” in 1972-3 ended the musical 60s. In short: MONEY. Money rules the US and UK today more than ever. And those who have it, don’t need to be loved, just feared.
Tred should reside in the UK which relies on empiricism whereas the US emphasizes standards/theories of normative reasonableness. Science v. Philosophy.
I understand most of the moves, even though I like some more than others. But the fact is, you can only “like” moves on paper. You need to wait to judge them by their performance on the field.
Get it done. WIN.
Weren’t we all excited last year about what Eberflus and Waldron. we’re going to do? Acquisitions is just a step in the process. . . .
