Justin Fields Put Bears Coaching Staff On Blast

-

Justin Fields recently appeared on his teammate Cam Heyward’s podcast, Not Just Football with Cam Heyward. They covered a variety of topics, but toward the end, Heyward played a game where he asked Fields to choose between “Chicago or Pittsburgh.” When it came to food, Fields chose Chicago. However, when asked about coaching, he immediately smiled and selected Pittsburgh. He also went on to say “it’s not close” when comparing the two staffs.

Fields is off to a 3-0 start, and Mike Tomlin, along with his coaching staff, are undeniably a better-run organization than Chicago. This situation highlights the importance of coaching. Justin has always had talent, but whether he will continue to thrive in Pittsburgh over the long term remains uncertain. However, it’s clear that he is currently in a better situation.

Pittsburgh’s first 3 opponents scored less than 9 points a game, IIRC. It looks like they are heavily scripting his starts to the game like we did. I’m curious to see how he responds to being down 2 scores when he has to push the ball down the field. You can see he is holding back running. He’s not a RB, and he wouldn’t make it through a full season. Don’t forget, he has to play the Browns and Ravens defense twice a year now. They are going to put him on a clock. TWTY, I’ve maintained this entire time,… Read more »

@Barry: your parsley reminded me of a hilarious gag. I went to a prep school, boarding, for high school. My roommate gave the dorm stoner a bag of catnip as his Secret Santa gift. We all open these gifts together in the common room. The stoner got a glimpse of his gift, and then wouldn’t let anyone see it, he was flailing around and yelling. Those few of us who were in on the joke were besides ourselves, while the rest of the dorm was mystified why this normally chill guy was thrashing around to stop people from seeing his… Read more »

No need to read this. I know the headline is BS. No time for it. Can’t even read the comments which are usually the most informative part of the article.

@TWTY: The fundamental problem here is that you come across with this hard and heavy “I understand all the problems and I have all the answers and anyone who disagrees with me is a meatball durr durr durr.” Here’s the deal (and this is where I do have the answers, as I’ve studied this for many years, and have a Ph.D. for it). Life is complex. Really complicated. If I say millions of factors go into determining how things work, I’d be vastly underestimating the complexity. So when someone comes along and says, “All the problems are because of this… Read more »

Can literally one single, solitary soul on here validate what Twat Waffle Told Ya is saying? Anybody care to raise their hand and say they care about the salary of HC? Chicago is a 1-2 team that has looked like an 0-3 team. If they were 3-0, I wouldn’t care if they were paying Eberflus in potato chips and bottles of Malort. Look, Tom, I’m sorry I sold you a bag of parsley and told you it was weed in high school. And I’m sorry for laughing my ass off when you tried to smoke it. Seriously. I was just… Read more »
