Jim Harbaugh To Bears? Insider Confirms It’s Very Much On The Table

-

Matt Eberflus hasn’t been given any assurances he’s safe. Not yet. Every prominent insider, from Adam Schefter to Albert Breer, has said that. Sure, the widespread belief is the Chicago Bears head coach will get a third season. Yet nobody has been able to offer anything official. When team president Kevin Warren was asked point blank if Eberflus would return, he sidestepped the question, stating he plans to look at the entire picture after the game in Green Bay. Not exactly a ringing endorsement. Here is where we come back to Jim Harbaugh.

Rumors around him and the NFL have swirled for years. It’s pretty well-known he hopes to return for a shot to finally win a Super Bowl. This year might be his best chance. Michigan is in the national championship. His profile will never be higher. Word persists that teams with head coach openings will make a run at him. The two most popular destinations are the Chargers and Raiders. However, insider Tony Pauline of Sportskeeda indicated the Bears are very much in play.

Two other teams have shown significant interest in Harbaugh: the Chicago Bears and Washington Commanders.

While the Bears have indicated Matt Eberflus will return as head coach, I am told there is a possibility for change if the franchise believes it can reel in Harbaugh. The fact that the team owns the first pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and a second selection midway through the frame makes the Chicago job even more attractive.”

The Jim Harbaugh buzz hasn’t gone away.

Before people shout down the idea Pauline isn’t a credible source, he absolutely is. He correctly indicated the Bears would trade up for a quarterback in the 2021 draft. He also provided correct information that Justin Fields would fall. The guy has good information. So this update on Harbaugh is 100% newsworthy. Keep in mind how he phrased it. The Bears are showing significant interest in him. That would suggest Warren and GM Ryan Poles like the idea of bringing the guy into Chicago, feeding the previous rumors of them wanting to corral a proven name.

Jim Harbaugh has been a winner everywhere he’s been. He has a longstanding reputation for developing quarterbacks. His connections to Chicago are obvious. They drafted him in 1987, and he was their quarterback for multiple seasons. Mike Ditka was one of his mentors when he got into coaching. The question is whether he can have a working relationship with Warren and Poles. Harbaugh has a reputation for being difficult to work with. He doesn’t care for authority figures and was at odds with Warren during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chicago may delay their decision on Eberflus until they know whether they can reel in somebody bigger. If it doesn’t fall through, then they stay the course. Expectations are that the Harbaugh decision will move fast.

I get paid more than $140 to $170 per hour for working online. I heard about this job 3 months ago and after joining this I have earned easily $10k from this without having online working skills. Simply give it a shot on the accompanying site…

Another Erik Lambert claim with no verification to support the claim. For someone who was educated at a “prestigious” school, EL is a poor writer.

After watching the Green Bay game, please get rid of Fields and Eberfluss.

I am not sure if I would compare Jim Harbaugh to Jesus. Jesus didn’t have an older brother that was a better carpenter than him.

save the proselytizing for somewhere else, football and fairytales are an odd combination.
