Jaylon Johnson Is Sick And Tired Of Hearing About Jayden Daniels

-

Quarterbacks have been the talk of the town this week in advance of the Chicago Bears‘ matchup with the Washington Commanders. That must feel odd, considering both organizations’ tortured history at the position. However, most of the discussions have centered around Jayden Daniels. The #2 overall pick has been stellar over the first seven games of this season, but his status is in question for Sunday due to a rib injury. Washington has been coy about it all week, leaving some to wonder if backup Marcus Mariota may start instead. Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson is done hearing about it.

The defense has prepared for this challenge all week. In their eyes, it doesn’t matter which quarterback plays. Washington will run the same offense. Johnson expects only one thing to happen on Sunday. That is the Bears “whooping their ass.”

Jaylon Johnson continues to keep it real.

One thing that has always been great about the Pro Bowl cornerback is he’s never shy about speaking his mind. If he feels some kind of way, he’ll say it. This statement likely sums up not just his own thoughts but that of the defense as well. They’ve had to hear all week about how great the Commanders offense is. Nobody can stop them. It is a well-oiled machine. To a competitor like Jaylon Johnson, that can be taken as an insult. This defense is one of the best in the NFL. They have continued to prove it every week since last season, having not allowed more than 21 points in twelve consecutive games. Yet nobody is bothering to discuss this leading up to the game. It’s all about Daniels and that Washington offense. Johnson sure sounds ready to give them a reality check. Don’t be surprised if the Bears defense tries to make a statement on Sunday.

Tired of hearing about Daniels? Lay a beatdown on that team. Not just a win over them, a massacre.

Make a point. You want respect?

Win. Convincingly.
