New and Notes

The Bears announced the hiring of their new QB Coach. Kerry Joseph follows Shane Waldron to Chicago from Seattle. Joseph was the assistant QB coach for the Seahawks. He was teammates with Jarret Payton in the CFL. Kerry will get a good look at some of the available QBs in this year’s draft. He is coaching QBs at the Senior Bowl. Michael Pratt, Spencer Rattler, and Carter Bradley, are quarterbacks that will be under the watchful eye of Joseph.

The number of defensive coordinators the Bears have interviewed is now four. The three candidates already interviewed are Charles Harris, Terrell Williams, and Eric Washington. The former DC for Green Bay, Joe Barry, is also expected to get an interview for the open spot.

Michael is the best Bears beat writer on this website. But tens of thousands of readers pass over his writing for the fluff pieces. Just look at the top of each article, Michael gets 2-5,000 views but Erik’s regurgitations get views in the tens of thousands.

It’s a shame.

Thanks for the informative article Michael. It’s nice to read some interesting facts, instead of constant, rinse and repeat opinions.
