One thing about the NFL is it always encourages its teams to experiment with updating their look. New uniforms aren’t a regular occurrence, but teams do like setting aside one or two games per year to try out alternate ones. The Chicago Bears are no different. They went with throwback versions from the 1930s over the past two seasons. Now the organization decided to try something brand new and never done before.
The Bears have used orange jerseys in the past. Fans seem to like them. So the team went the extra mile, unveiling their first-ever orange helmet featuring a navy blue C. Roquan Smith served as the model. The uniform will be worn twice during the month of October, first against the Washington Commanders on the 13th and then against the Dallas Cowboys on the 30th. It is safe to say the reactions to the unveiling are mixed.
Chicago Bears found many love the new look.

One thing people can say for sure is the uniform doesn’t lack vibrancy. They stand out. Orange isn’t a color prone to subtlety. That said, there were plenty of complaints. More than a few people found the look underwhelming or even outright plagiaristic.
Others? Not so much.

The #Bears wearing an *orange* helmet is like the #Dodgers wearing a red hat. Yes, it's a (minor) secondary color that they use. No, that doesn't mean it should be featured beyond that. Especially for franchises (like Bears and Dodgers) with impeccable uniform programs.

Previous alternate uniforms didn’t see this kind of division before. The 1936 and 1940s throwbacks were met with enthusiasm when they debuted. Many fans find it difficult to understand why orange was the color the Chicago Bears chose to highlight, especially since the Browns and Bengals already do that. Why not do an all-white version? The organization wanted to experiment. Maybe it will grow on people once they see it in action later this year.
The Commanders will be wearing their own alternates against Chicago in that matchup. Perhaps the orange vs. black clash will be a nice combination.
Keep the original uniforms. My only suggestion is to change the helmet’s finish to a flat/ satin style finish similar to what the Vikes did with their helmets.
I like the orange jerseys and orange helmet. I dont know if I like em together quite yet tho
For some reason I’m kinda partial to the orange.
Orange helmet with blue jersey would be ok. I absolutely hate the orange jerseys.
And the uniforms are kind of growing on me. I just want the Bears to have an identity again. I hope the new coaching staff can make it happen
