Draft Insiders Think This Prospect Is Likeliest To Fall To Chicago Bears

-

The Chicago Bears won’t tell anybody what they have planned for the 2025 NFL draft. That is no surprise. The last thing they want is to leak to other teams what they intend. However, in these situations, the best thing to do is try to determine which of the top prospects in the class have the best odds of being available when they pick. A great way to gauge this is by collecting data from various draft experts and insiders, many of whom have strong connections to people in the league. It helps to form a picture of how things likely unfold.

As things stand, four players have been discussed the most as probable Bears targets for the #10 overall pick: Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty, LSU tackle Will Campbell, Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham, and Penn State tight end Tyler Warren. So which of them do experts think have the best odds of being available as things stand? Let’s find out.

The Chicago Bears likely have a good shot at two of the four names.

Ashton Jeanty (RB, Boise State)
  • Mel Kiper – 6th
  • Daniel Jeremiah – 6th
  • Joe Klatt – 12th
  • Michael Renner – 6th
  • Kyle Crabbs – 10th
  • Ryan Fowler – 6th
Will Campbell (OT, LSU)
  • Mel Kiper – 13th
  • Daniel Jeremiah – 10th
  • Joe Klatt – 7th
  • Michael Renner – 9th
  • Kyle Crabbs – 12th
  • Ryan Fowler – 4th
Mason Graham (DT, Michigan)
  • Mel Kiper – 5th
  • Daniel Jeremiah – 8th
  • Joe Klatt – 6th
  • Michael Renner – 5th
  • Kyle Crabbs – 5th
  • Ryan Fowler – 5th
Tyler Warren (TE, Penn State)
  • Mel Kiper – 7th
  • Daniel Jeremiah – 14th
  • Joe Klatt – 14th
  • Michael Renner – 14th
  • Kyle Crabbs – 7th
  • Ryan Fowler – 14th

Based on the data, it appears most of the experts believe Campbell or Warren have the best odds of reaching the Chicago Bears at #10. Jeanty is widely believed to be the target for the Las Vegas Raiders at 6th overall, and Graham is unlikely to get past the Jaguars at #5. Presuming it unfolds like this, the question becomes whether Poles and Johnson are content with one of those two options or if they decide to take a gamble on somebody else. Almost every pass rusher not named Abdul Carter should still be on the board. They could also look to trade down. What would you do?

Veece.. how do u know Jeanty is not similarly fast/quick as Brakley? Even if not identical, he absolutely has take it to the house speed for sure. And he packs plenty of power considering he’s 211 lbs at just 5’8. He put up 192 yds on Oregon, 259 on Wash St, 226 on Oregon St and 104 on Penn St. No, he didn’t play against SEC teams, but he didn’t have SEC Olineman blocking for him either. I do agree with u that Hampton and Judkins are also very solid RB’s. We also dont know Warren’s 40 time yet either.… Read more »

My hope is that someone falls that someone below us covets enough to move up, we trade down, grab Simmons from OSU, take a RB in the 2nd. Campbell isn’t a LT in the NFL to me, a move to RT or guard would suit him. Simmons, to me, is the top tackle in the draft and would eventually be our LT for the long term. Jeanty appears to be a good back, I don’t think he’s top 10 pick good back, he does lack speed. I can’t see Warren as the 10th pick either, theres other TEs that would… Read more »

There’s a reason that Warren falls to #14 in most mock drafts – he’s not an elite TE. If he had 4.5 or better speed like Gonzalez and Gates, then that separation is worth the risk. But he’s not. And Jeanty is good but not Saquon quick or fast. So why blow a Top 10 pick on him? Bears need a power back like Judkins or Hampton who are 4.46 guys to boot. Jeanty isn’t a homerun threat. He’s a good back in a LOUSY conference!!! Now, if he got those number in the SEC, then I’d take him. But… Read more »

My top two: DE Abdul, RB Jeanty (trade up).
Next two: TE Warren, DT Graham (stay at #10).
Bottom two: LB Jihaad, S Emmanwori (trade down).

Bears, what are you willing to pay for My Top Two?
Or should you commit to one of 4-5 other DEs?

“Lest We Forget” my preferences:

2022 RB Bijan Robinson
2023 QB Stroud, if a QB were to be selected.
2024 (A) LT Alt, (B) WR Odunze, (C) LT Fashanu.
2025 DE/LB Abdul Carter, since May 1, 2024.

You can’t touch this!
