DJ Moore Drops Hint About Justin Fields Future In Chicago

-

The Chicago Bears have been surprisingly quiet on the traditionally eventful “Black Monday,” when many franchises dismiss coaches and front office personnel. While some teams have already started organizational changes, the Bears have yet to make any announcements. Currently, the team is conducting player exit interviews, with DJ Moore recently concluding his meeting with Matt Eberflus and Ryan Poles. During the discussions, the focus was notably on Justin Fields, with DJ Moore advocating for his quarterback.

“I bored him up, of course. I mean, he’s the quarterback of the Chicago Bears until otherwise. And I don’t think that’s changing anytime soon. We’ll see.”

Justin Fields teammates want him back next season

DJ Moore has consistently supported Justin Fields, and his recent statement that Fields will remain with the team shouldn’t be overlooked. Throughout the season, their on-field chemistry was evident. The upcoming QB decision by Ryan Poles will be crucial and will no doubt determine the success of the Bears for years to come. It will be interesting to see how much influence DJ Moore’s opinion carries. The decision on the Bears next quarterback is underway, and only time will reveal the impact of Moore’s perspective.

@exsouthsider I suppose that if you need statistics to quote in your deriding Justin Fields, you would actually prefer a lousy team, than a quarterback with non-eyeopening statistics. I just finished watching Michigan steamroll the Washington Huskies. Michael Penix has been tabbed by many of the fans here, people who have watched the Chicago Bears for decades, to be one of several “generational franchise” quarterbacks who they would far rather see behind center than that “loser” Justin Fields. I am reminded that Jesse Minter, the defensive coordinator of the Wolverines, was a coach for ONE year, under the current defensive… Read more »

@Wes P – More excuses from the peanut gallery regarding JF. JF is mediocre at best. Did you even watch the GB game – do you even read JF’s dismal stats? Not one touchdown from sorry ‘ole JF against GB. That’s exactly why he is ranked 22 out of 30 QBs (with the minimum number of starts) and Love is ranked 10th. I’m a Bears fan and have been one for over 50 years, but Bears fans that champion one of the lowest ranked QBs in the league are pathetic and sad. JF averages under 4 wins a season –… Read more »

The Bears got killed in the trenches against Green Bay and it definitely decided the outcome of the game. It made Jordan Love look better than Justin Fields and revealed to Chicago what they need to fix if they want to win in the future.

The ads are out of control! Half the time covering up whole paragraphs. It is beyond irritating!
