Chicago Bears Players React To The Justin Fields Trade

-

The Chicago Bears have made a big decision by finally choosing their starting quarterback. They’ve traded Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a 2025 6th-round pick, with the possibility of it becoming a 4th-round pick if Fields meets certain playing criteria this season. This move has sparked varied reactions from fans, media, and especially current and former Bears players who have voiced their opinions on social media. Some are disappointed, while others understand the business side of football.

Justin Fields was a leader in the Bears locker room

It’s widely known that Justin Fields was highly respected and liked by numerous players in the Bears locker room. So, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to hear such responses. However, as DJ Moore pointed out, when it comes to decisions in the NFL, business is business.

RYAN POLES, YOU SUCK!

A 6th round pick for Justin Fields, the guy you put through a rebuild, and the worst offensive line ever, is just an insult!

A 6th round pick is just like cutting a guy for nothing.

THE PRESSURE IF ON RYAN POLES, NOW YOU HAVE TO PICK THE RIGHT QB AND THE ODDS ARE AGAINST YOU! If you had Justin Fields still on the team your odds would have been much higher.

This bad trade is the last straw… Good bye Bears, you are officially unfollowed, unliked and walked away from!

I keep seeing comments of moving down one spot and getting a couple 2’s and a 3 but if that’s what it came to, they can piss off. Any trade with them for number one would have to include… Read more »

Please stop whining about this trade. He set his market with his play. If he had been worth more he would have been part of the initial QB signing flurry..I wish him well, but an glad this is finally over….

I don’t see why everyone is upset. Poles could have let Fields go last year but didn’t. He gave him another chance to prove himself and he didn’t. I’m sure he was a great leader and locker room guy, but that didn’t translate on the field. It is what it is. I wish the pick was better, but Poles’ hands were tied.

Great day. 6th is what he is worth. No way he earns that 4th comp. Bears got better today.
