Chicago Bears Fan Predicted The Blocked FG A Week Before It Happened

-

The Chicago Bears always find ways to lose to the Green Bay Packers. Their latest edition was probably one of the most painful. After driving down the field trailing 20-19, all they needed was a 46-yard field goal to win the game. So naturally, it was blocked. Protection on the interior broke down and the kick was low. Ballgame over. Everybody knows the story by now. However, there is another layer to it that makes it twice as shocking, or hilarious depending on your state of mind.

A week before the game, the Denver Broncos were in the exact same position to beat the Kansas City Chiefs with a 35-yard field goal. It was blocked. A Bears fan named Ark declared on Twitter (X) that people would never see him again if the same thing happened against Green Bay the next week.

Well, it happened. One can only imagine what the fan was thinking while watching the entire sequence play out. We may never know. Either way, he stayed true to his word.

That Chicago Bears fans didn’t heed an important lesson.

If you don’t want something to happen, don’t put it out into the universe. The moment he made that statement after the Broncos game, he immediately set his team up for heartbreak. The football gods love a great prank. Forcing somebody to quit Twitter because of a blocked field goal is beyond funny. At this point, all one can do is laugh. The Chicago Bears have found every conceivable way to lose under this regime.

It was the goal line stand in Washington two years ago.

It was three 4th quarter collapses last year despite double digit leads in each.

We have the Hail Mary in Washington last month.

Now comes a blocked field goal against the Packers. Bears fans have experienced losing before, but there is something about this recent stretch that magnifies the pain in unimaginable ways.

He likely just went over to Bluesky like everyone else that’s tired of the toxic environment that X has become.
