The greatest rivalry in football is between the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers. Most players understand the intensity of this rivalry once they join the Bears. However, in recent seasons, the Bears have struggled to beat Green Bay. The Packers have consistently come out on top, but the Bears are hopeful they can change this narrative starting this season. New Bears rookie Austin Booker, a fifth-round pick, appeared on Barstool Sports’ “The Mid Show” last week. When asked if he had any final thoughts, Booker made it clear he is embracing the rivalry and had some choice words for the Packers.
“Shit, fuck Green Bay”
Even though it’s only the middle of June and the Bears still need to prove they can beat the Packers, I love the attitude the rookies are showing. Booker has a strong hate for the Packers already, and rookie wide receiver Rome Odunze mentioned how much he hates the colors yellow and green. It’s great to see such competitiveness from the young players.
But let’s hope the team can back it up this year.

Attitude on the D! Sounds good to me.
If you think Booker is nasty, just observe the animosity between England and Scotland in the World Series of Darts–now that is a bloody rivalry.
Green Bay the land of cow pies and beer farts to say the least, a perfect combo to go along with those stinking moldy cheese hats, that’s how they came up with the color green in their uniforms.
Booker has a ton of natural ability, if the coaches can get up him up to NFL level, I would not be surprised to see him become the #1 DE across from Sweat by mid-season. He has a non-stop motor and Sweat will draw the majority of double teams this year, so this kid may just be force to deal with.
Kid’s got attitude. Go get em! Hope it doesn’t hit ya where the good Lord split ya.
