Bears Potential TE Target Officially Off The Board

-

Free agency in the NFL is just a few days away barring any changes the league may announce regarding the recent COVID-19 outbreak. With this in mind, the tight end market is going to be an area the Bears will be heavily involved in. Unfortunately, a huge name has just been scratched off that list. Today, the Los Angeles Chargers announced that they have decided to use their franchise tag on TE Hunter Henry.

The Bears still have options

Even though Henry was indeed a top target in this year’s free agent class for tight ends, there are still notbale names left on the board. Players that come to mind, are Austin Hooper and Eric Ebron. The Bears could also go an entirely different route like the NFL Draft where they can try to find their very own George Kittle. Either way, the dominoes are starting to fall and it will be interesting to see how Ryan Pace and Co. respond.
