There have been concerns about the Bears offensive line, particularly regarding its depth. Starting right guard Nate Davis missed some time due to a setback a few weeks ago. However, Davis appears to be recovering well; he was back at practice on Tuesday and has resumed his starting role at right guard.
The good news keeps coming.
The Bears rookie offensive lineman, Kiran Amegadjie, is progressing ahead of schedule. Amegadjie, a third-round pick from Yale, has yet to participate in Training Camp due to a quad injury he sustained in college. This injury also kept him out of the spring offseason activities. However, he appears to be nearing a return to the field, which would be a significant boost for the Bears’ offensive line. On Tuesday, Bears beat reporter Herb Howard reported that Amegadjie is ramping up and might start practicing soon.
The Bears offensive line looked impressive on Saturday against the Bills. But getting Nate Davis back is a significant boost. Regardless of opinions about him, his talent remains to be important to the Bears. Additionally, Amegadjie will be a valuable addition to the offensive line, which should make Caleb Williams life even easier.

@Mansa Musa… I JUST SPIT MY COFFEE OUT! ROFLMAO!!!
I’d be a LOT happier if Bates was Full Strength … sorry, I just can’t trust Davis
Yep, it’s terrible news. No one wants the guy who was stealing 10 million a season to get better. And god forbid that the young rookie who is recovering from an injury might help us. Crap, that might mean that the coaching staff is doing their magic at motivating the unmotivated and waiting until just the right time for their prized young lineman to be ready.
Damn it, I might not have anything to bitch about.
Good news on the Bears OL means no one died…
We’ll see if TG Pace is correct about the O-Line in time. Building a team is a process and some errors occur.
No need to listen to a shrill ex-wife about the process. I’ll decide for myself and I presume other smart Bear fans will do the same.
